Lesley is an artist who works with textiles and fibre to develop her
body of work celebrating the spectacular UNESCO World Heritage
Sites she travels to. Most recently she has produced work for a
unique collaboration with the Calgary Opera and the Banff Centre
in support of the new opera Frobisher.
She is a geographer, trained teacher and graduate of the City and
Guilds of London Institute in Design and Embroidery. She is
currently a student of the University of Calgary and also enrolled in
the BA (Hons) Embroidered Textiles, Opus School of Textile Arts,
University of Middlesex, London, programme.
